| The BCS Championship game is set: CPI #1 Notre Dame vs CPI #3 Alabama. CPI #2 Florida, with a strong resume, will still earn a berth to a BCS game, ahead of several other strong contenders in the SEC in Georgia, Texas A&M, South Carolina, and LSU. Former BCS Top 2 contenders Oregon and Kansas St will face off in another game. And Northern Illinois claims an outside straight to the first ever BCS berth for a non-AQ conference one-loss team. |
