| The Alabama Crimson Tide avenged their regular season loss to LSU in a dominant 21-0 victory in the Allstate BCS National Championship game. The final CPI ratings hold LSU at #1 due to their strength of schedule during the season. Because of the mixed signals that are sent by two of the top teams splitting their decision, and another (Oklahoma St) losing only one game despite a top 10 schedule, the final results are not as aligned with the consensus votes as they are in a typical year. |
